Debbie McKelvey
Serving at the Taylor Community Center in McAllen, on the Texas/Mexico border.
Missions
A small church with a long reach.
We are one rural congregation in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Our giving reaches the Texas border, Stellenbosch, Rwanda, Uganda — and the food pantry eight miles up the road.
Our Missionaries
People we know by name, pray for by name, and support monthly.
These are not line items in a budget. They write to us, they visit when they are stateside, and we read their letters aloud.
Mark & Marcie Harris
Serving with East Mountain, developing Christian leaders through discipleship and spiritual formation.
John & Jane Chitester
With Harvest Alliance International since 2005, leading discipleship training for pastors and church leaders in Rwanda and Uganda, and teaching in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Organizations We Support
Partners in the work, near and far.
East Mountain
Leadership development rooted in holistic Christian formation.
Harvest Alliance International
Discipleship and pastoral training across Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, the DR Congo, and Liberia.
The Gideons International
Placing Scripture in nearly every facet of life — more than 200 countries and 95 languages. Our contact is Bill Schiafone, a member here.
Brookville Area Food Pantry
Part of the Second Harvest Food Bank, serving neighbors in our own county who need food.
Get Involved
You do not have to leave the county to be useful.
The Brookville Area Food Pantry always needs hands and shelf-stable food. The Gideons place Scripture through our own member, Bill Schiafone. And every missionary on this page can use letters.
