Sunday School · 9:00 AM

The backbone of the church.

We say that plainly, because a sermon once a week is not the same thing as sitting down with a passage and being free to ask questions about it. Classes run from 9:00 until about 9:45.

Children & Young People

Three classes, from the early grades through high school.

Taught by people your children will see again at the grocery store — which is its own kind of accountability.

Superintendents

Who to ask.

Rodger Alderton and Missie Rankin serve as our Sunday School superintendents. If you are not sure which class you belong in — or you would rather someone just walk you to the right room — either of them is the person to find. Or stop at the Visitor Center (Room 10) just inside the main entrance.

New students are welcome any Sunday. There is no sign-up, no materials to buy beforehand, and no expectation that you have read anything in advance.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

Come at nine, or come at ten.

Sunday School is not a prerequisite for worship, and worship is not a reward for attending Sunday School. Both doors are open.
